Roommatcher
About Roommatcher
Roommatcher is a Tinder-style roommate finding app. The app enables users to find roommates that would be compatible with the users.
Compatibility between roommates is calculated by the app through a variety of factors including, but not limited to, user's interests, preferences, and 'swiping' history.

Vision
Pain Points
-
Many people often look for roommates. They resort to several unstructured methods to find compatible roommates.
-
These methods are not only time-taking and effortful but also do not yield excellent results.
-
Most people find it challenging to asses roommate compatibility across several variables such as sleep/work schedules, cleanliness habits, substance use, and sociability.
-
Some people, introverts for example, struggle with connecting and talking to many people before making a choice.
Solution
A service that allows users to:
-
find potential roommates easily
-
connect with potential roommates safely
-
determine compatibility objectively
